no OEM package! cheap quality metals

Not a bad price but the mirror could be a lot better. Also doesn't fit like the original and the brackets are different. NO OEM quality.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Nothing

cheap mirror best in mirrors and parts

The mirror mount is so small when I open the corner window for air it hits the mirror. The screws also don't match what was in the door. The black hub is very thin, not even close to fords, I can see it cracking in a few years.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Not what I expected.

Did not live up to expectations for a 1993 Ford F-150. Removed the repackaged mirror and fitted it onto the original brackets. Repackaged brackets did not fit into the pre-drilled screw holes in the door. so they were transformed. The materials for this product are on the cheap side. sorry i'm just being honest

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Very expensive

Suitable for some pickups

Very thin head piece in the mirror area, but with a very well made aluminum frame. I bought this for my 1978 Ford F100 pickup and the Revain page said 'It fits your car' but that is not true. This mirror has no tilt angle adjustment of the two brackets attached to the door. And the shape of the door panel on my Ford doesn't allow it to be attached properly.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Frequency

Does what you'd expect from a non-OEM part

Very easy to swap out, comes with all parts needed. They do not fit the original seals. The body of the mirror is plastic, so I don't think it will keep its glossy finish for long. However, the rest appears to be some sort of steel that will last as long as the OEM. Haven't ridden it yet but it seems to fit and work just as I hoped.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not bad

The mirror head is made of plastic!

The temple frame may be stainless steel, but the mirror head itself is plastic and unreliable off-road. move the mirror from its position. Also, it vibrated in the wind while moving, making it difficult to see/recognize objects/vehicles. Used in the passenger side application, it is non-convex (convex is not offered), which limits the field of view. The frame mount work was very "cheap" and had a poor finish compared to the original OEM mounts. I returned it for these reasons. Word to the wise,

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Almost OK
