Great ride good for spares

For the price it's a basic ride quality item. I haven't compared it to other high end shocks but it worked for me. Installs on Eurovan 1993 in about 30 minutes.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • boring packaging

Worked great on my Rialta

I saved a small fortune on the OEM Bilstein shocks that came with my VW Rialta. Easy to install and offers a great ride on the road. NOTHING bad to say about it.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Reliable half price damper from Bilstein

I took the opportunity to try these dampers and was pleasantly surprised. I installed them on a 2003 Eurovan Weekender. I have previously fitted Bilstein touring shocks to the same model and honestly haven't noticed any difference in performance. Maybe Bilstein will last longer. Maybe not, only time will tell, but I know I saved over 50% of the cost upfront. The fit was perfect. Not sure why the previous reviewer's shocks didn't come with mounting hardware. Mine did, including new bushings.

Pros
  • Easy to fit
Cons
  • A few minor things

incomplete, random item for parts

I seriously doubt this product is made by Monroe. The case is not marked in any way by the manufacturer. Just a sticker with numbers. Bought two dampers. One had a bushing and nuts, the other didn't. Large manufacturers rarely make such mistakes. The shock that had parts in the nose did not have a lock nut. Instead, he gave two different crazy guesses so you can relate them. of course nothing in the box to explain it. In addition, the bushing bushing was not even pushed onto the threads of the…

VW Eurovan option in spare parts

This strut (shock absorber) is suitable for VW Eurovan 2001-2003. It's less than half the price of the next best Bilstein OEM rack. It is produced by Monroe but not made in the US but made in Spain. Obviously this is an OEM replacement for VW AG. Compared to the original gear carrier, you will find this Monroe carrier is thicker and more powerful. The rack is delivered without mounting material. All you need is a top nut that you reuse from your old rack, and you can also reuse two rubber…

  • Very impressive
