Good product on spares

Easy replacement for my wife's 2010 Escape. The OEM shocks were leaking and we had 70,000 miles on the car. There are some good videos on YouTube on how to detach the inner panels to access the top screws. Recommended self-repair.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Perfect for the 2009 Ford Escape!

Very easy to install on 2009 FORD Escape. The test drive lasted about 50 miles, and after 250,000 miles with the original shocks, the handling improved dramatically. Replaced with Monroe shock absorbers front and rear.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Some bugs

DIY Fits shock absorbers

Used these to replace worn shock absorbers on a 2009 Ford Escape with 128,000 miles. In addition to the nut that connects the shock absorbers to the wheels, the kit contained all the necessary parts. After installing these shocks, my car handled and drove much better. I no longer have to slow down while crawling to prevent product from flying backwards in turns.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Can't remember

4 star based. about parts

As for the product, it's 5 stars. Quick and easy installation on the 2010 Ford Escape XLT. The ride seems pretty smooth. The reason I only gave 4 stars was the shipping. I ordered two and only got one real damper and something completely different for the second one. Did the return process and they got it right by giving me the right shock but it put off all my plans for the week due to the delay.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Working speed

Easy to install, best in spares

These shock absorbers are easy to install on your Mercury Mariner (like the Ford Escape). I watched a YouTube video on shock replacement to see how to remove the inner panels and it was a breeze. After removing the interior panels, you only need to unscrew 2 screws. A word of caution: do not remove the plastic tether until you are ready to install it; Then use thick string wrapped top and bottom to squeeze these shocks together, then install the bottom bolt and release the string to allow theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Functionality
