Bought 2, 1 was in US spec, the other was in Euro spec

Ordered 2 of these. 1 was US spec, the other was Euro spec. Same product number, completely different product, destined for different parts of the world, made in different factories. 1 was longer than the other. I had to go back.

Will not fit 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback 2.5L Grand Touring

I'm sure they're great when they fit. I tried installing them on a 2010 Mazda 3 2.5L Grand Touring Hatchback and the bottom grommets are wide too. Photos with old shock absorbers and new shock absorbers are attached. This is the first and hopefully last time the Revain Compatibility Checker is lying to me.

Pros
  • Confident

Will not fit Mazda 5 2008.

This shock absorber will not fit the 2008 Mazda 5 I bought it for. It is approximately 1 1/2 inches shorter than the original when fully extended. Funny, I ordered a shock absorber from a parts store and they recommended the same one. In their database, the Monroe shock was 1.5 inches shorter than the OEM. Purchase another brand that is the same as the original.

but feels like the original installation

Installed on a 2004 Mazda 3i. I was a bit concerned that the damping factors would be too hard or too soft, but that seems to be the factory setting. I actually had to buy shock absorbers and bump stops because this shock absorber was not included and the original was in poor condition. Other than that, I'm very happy with this shock, especially considering how much smaller it is than a Mazda part.

Pros
  • Great price

  • There are new competitors

When shipping the goods, please send the correct one.

Good morning, I bought a rear shock absorber from you for my 2006 Mazda Premacey last February and you sent the wrong one as you can see in the picture above, the left one, the right one I got from got you guys the right one came from my car but the picture you have on the platform shows the right fit of 23 in length and I'm 28 in length so it doesn't fit.

Entered Immediately - Shocks, Struts & Suspension

Entered Quickly and Easily. Of course I had to remove the passenger unit when I realized I forgot to convert the dust cover from the old one to the new one, oops. Even with that rework, it took less than an hour to swap out both devices, and that's it. Much better than the completely useless and useless ones we shot, which at the time of removal were just decoration, otherwise nothing was jammed. These are way better than the previous ones.

Pros
  • Easy to Read Control Panel
Cons
  • Not Sure

This listing showed it to fit the 2011 Mazda 3 perfectly which is NOT true. I bought 2 and gave to the mechanic. He installed it but when he tried to install the bottom screw it didn't fit because the socket is about 1/2 inch larger than the OEM. Basically he had to uninstall and go to a local shop and buy the correct shock absorbers which turned out to be a Monroe OESpectrum 5697 (it's a 5607). It cost me double the setup fee. I hope Revain corrects this list after this review.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Frequency

Worked to replace my burnt struts on my 2007 Mazda 3, just fitted although they were much thinner than the ones replaced. But as a replacement, it worked great and eliminated the rattling coming from behind. Fast forward 1+ months and these racks are still holding up! I hit the rear 3+ inches so they were never rated for such an aggressive spring. Still a great buy, build quality is so-so but they're holding up. Worst case they burn out and you replace them again for less than what you would…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Doubtful
