Does not work with 2011 Silverado HD

The provided hardware does not work with 2011 Silverado HD. I used regular screws instead, but now there is play in the sleeve.

Pros
  • Full Valve Offset: Improved valve area on both compression and expansion cycles for a smooth, comfortable ride.
Cons
  • Some issues

Monroe SC2969 on 2013 Silverado 2500HD

Just installed a Monroe SC2969 on my 2013 2500HD in about 10 minutes. I used a class 8 1/2" bolt x 3" with two washers and a nut purchased separately for the bracket end. This kit comes with a bolt to attach to the steering hole. Fits great and the truck has better roadholding. Plan to upgrade to bigger tires in the future, so why not have these below you price and easy installation just get one!

Pros
  • 1/2" Piston Rod: Durable nitrocarburized rod for long life
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Ideal steering gear solution

Bought a 2012 Denali 2500HD with 20" wheels. For the first time on a rough road, I found that the truck had serious bangs on the steering, even with small potholes. The solution of the problem. Hmm, they know the problem and want to sell the solution instead of fixing it in production. Yes, one point against GM. I crawled under the truck and found that the holes were already in place to attach this damper, I had to buy a nut and washer but it took 30 minutes to install and solved my problem…

Pros
  • Sintered iron piston: Stronger than conventional metals, improves wear resistance and extends service life.
Cons
  • No automatic transmission
