Description of πŸš€ MOOG K6535 Idler Arm: Industry-Leading Performance and Durability

Problem Solver powdered metal gusher bearing design enables grease to flow through the bearing to the stud for reduced friction and enhanced strength and stability. Moog engineered steel composition results in a stronger component. Greaseable socket design allows new lubricant to flush contaminants from the assembly, reducing corrosion and wear. Loose or worn chassis parts can lead to premature tire wear.

Now better than new

Used on a '08 Duramax Z71, replaced all steering elements with MOOG, I can tell a huge difference. was a loose, sluggish curve, sloppy. Now it's better than new. Never had a problem with MOOG, used it on all my cars/trucks. highly recommended!

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Fake or real?

The part fits great in the MOOG box but when I go to the MOOG website to make sure it's not a fake part it looks like could it be fake which sucks. Defective frontend parts can be fatal, I want to use MOOG for their quality but I'm afraid it could be counterfeit parts in a box made to look like MOOG. I'm giving two stars until I can confirm.

Pros
  • Link arms and parts
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Nice but could be better.

I bought this tensioner arm for my 2005 Silverado 2500HD. It's made in the USA, but like their cranks, there's no rubber boot to seal the tapered shaft between the arm and center link. Instead, they contain a foam rubber pad that will likely rot within a year or two. This part looks completely different from the OEM part, but the form, fit and function appear to be acceptable. I just want them to go the extra mile and put on a rubber boot!

Pros
  • Shocks, struts and suspension
Cons
  • poorly thought out

I always stick with ACDelco except for steering components.

You can't beat Moog and at these prices you will feel cheated if your local dealer tries to charge wholesalers and retailers. Call, there are shops that will be happy to supply you with spare parts. Don't let them try to charge you extra for guide arm mount replacement. Replacement is easier and less time consuming than disconnecting and reusing the idler bracket. A simple "job is easier to replace with both." I wanted to do this job myself, but as I watched a man of 20 years' experience trying

Pros
  • Spares
Cons
  • Retrofit

Great price and probably better than stock!

That was on my 2002 Silverado 2500 HD Duramax 4WD with 265, 75, 16, BF, nice and full off-road TA/KO. I want people to post information about their car when they write reviews. This cocking lever is perfect. Installed in two hours, arrival is not very convenient. I had to use a puller. Better take the old one off. Was significantly lighter than Pitman's arm! After I replaced that and the Pitman lever, the truck had absolutely no play. It's only been a month but now I can see how long my old…

Pros
  • Reversing lever
Cons
  • Negative available
