Excellent bushing of the highest quality

Saved me from buying a brand new $300 shock absorber for my 2004 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. You had to pay a professional machine shop to take the old one out and press the new one on. Lots of money saved.

Pros
  • Problem Solver products combine proven design and engineering features
Cons
  • Functionality

Poor quality rubber

My '98 4runner fit was good, but they deformed almost as soon as they were loaded and it didn't improve handling at all. The attached picture shows what they looked like after less than 40,000 miles; They are cracked and in worse condition than the 110,000 mile stock. I have since replaced them with Bilstein bushings which seem to be much stiffer. I do not recommend this part.

Pros
  • Moog engineers tested construction and design
Cons
  • Almost never

This jack will ALWAYS fail. Poor Toyota Design

I'm not happy with the hub (regardless of brand) but with the poor Toyota engineering on this generation of Tacomas. This small bushing carries the ENTIRE load from the shock/strut to the lower arm. Unlike other designs where the springs actually sit on top of the wishbones, this poor little thing takes a terrific beating. Toyota had to design a larger bushing for this application. . miser.

Pros
  • Restores steering and handling like new
Cons
  • Interval
