🚀 Enhanced Moog RK620224 Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly for Optimal Performance Review

Arrived much earlier than expected which is always great. Ordered driver and passenger side. They fit perfectly. Installed 3/14/18. So far good. Will update after spending more time and miles on it

Perfect fit. OEM quality. But it wasn't pre-lubricated. Trouble trying to lubricate the ball joint without a syringe. MacGyver had a shot because I wasn't trying to spend $20 on some stupid kit at ridiculously overpriced auto dealerships.

Please note that prior to selecting this control arm/ball joint the title indicated that the packaging was damaged. When I received this control arm/ball joint, I found that the stem on the ball joint was damaged beyond repair and 2 nuts were missing. This item was not yet ready for sale; it was sent back for repairs or sold as scrap.

I like that this is a brand new node but I don't like the 'Made in China' label on the packaging. "Nylon" nuts with a nylon lock are unscrewed. A very dangerous condition and Mugu has to solve this problem for safety reasons. IMO Mugu needs to upgrade to Stover Nuts for safety reasons. If you're doing this at home, swap out or put on a second nut to secure the first.

. It takes a lot of effort to get into the right position on the Explorer, but it takes effort to work the abs. The way Explorer leveling is done has sliding tabs that snap into place. Just make sure the same bearings return to the same side and you're good to go. Again I tried to save $10 and put pressure on another camp. I wasn't smart.

Very easy to install. This is the second car I have fitted this part to. The first car lasted 2+ years with no problems so I decided to buy them again for the second car. I checked all the cheap fakes but saw so many quality problems. You can't go wrong with Moog and the price isn't even that different. Your lives and those of your passengers are worth a lot more than the few bucks you save for that other piece of junk.
