why birds don't like it

so this is the second time I've ordered seeds online and got the same result. Never again. When I first ordered Wagners, the finches didn't fit at all in a feeder filled with other Nyjer seeds. He attracted rats more than birds. I thought it was just a party. I bought some KAYTEE seeds from the hardware store and the feeder has been filled with finches again, if they like the food they can clear the feeder in 3 days. And then I ordered Morning Song. Goldfinch cleans the feeder every day

UPDATE: I originally wrote that although the seeds seemed to be of very good quality, the goldfinches gnawed through them to get my black oil sunflower seeds, so did I stopped using them and concentrated on sunflower seeds and safflower in my feeder. I was cleaning out my birdseed last week and came across this packet. Not wanting it to go to waste, I added it to the feeder. I was hoping our finches would like this thistle seed but they don't. My wife recently bought a hanging Nayera seed web feeder and it attracted so many yellow finches we couldn't believe it. They destroyed a full bag in just over a week. So I checked out Revain to see if I could find a cheaper seed as Nyjer is very expensive. I was hoping the thistle seeds would help.
