Enhanced Moroso 85474 Air/Oil 🔍 Separator Catch Can for Universal Application Review

Great product I would recommend this to anyone with a direct injection engine. This will stop the carbon build-up problem before it starts. If I had a new car, I would do it right away!

This product has a very high quality assembly that can be filled. It appears to be CNC machined from standard aluminum. There are very small shots. I installed it on a 1972 Fiat 500 (500cc engine). It was very easy to install with the included bracket which is also a very nice CNC cut piece. I am very satisfied with this product. Works, looking forward to all the good reviews I've read about it.

Installed on a Miata Turbo, between the PCV valve and the intake side of the valve cover. It works like a trap, although it's just a simple, mesh-filled, two-chamber separator. I removed the 3/8" brass fittings and replaced the 3/8" males with 1/2" barbs. The supplied connections are very thick and unnecessarily restrict the flow. I don't know why they did it that way. 4 stars because it's beautiful and seems to work.

I usually do a lot of research when buying parts so this is one of the best I've found. The people of Moroso have a long history of producing quality car parts at a reasonable price. This air/oil separator was purchased for a modified WRX turbo with a slight oil blowout. This unit has a true baffle separating the inlet from the outlet, with a filter screen on either side.
