Enhance Ford C6 Transmission Performance with Moroso 93108 Perm-align Transmission Gasket Review

This is by far the best Transdon seal I have ever used. For the first time in years, my old Ford C6 didn't spill gear oil while parked.

Just right for sealing small bumps and warped stamped oil pans. The seal prevents the pallet from deforming when screwed. Great help.

These are quality seals, do not use RTV. If it is leaking, the edges of the pallet will need to be straightened and/or the bolts will need to be undertightened. The spacer has built in stops to prevent over tightening. So unless you're doing something ridiculous, this shouldn't be happening.

The gasket was unnaturally thick, about 0.5cm It also came with a huge boot print on the shipping box, and leaked after installation because of those creases in the gasket. I'm not sure if a real perm can have such problems, but my mechanic didn't believe it was a real product.

I used this gasket to replace an old cork gasket on my C6 drivetrain in my '65 Custom 500 with a Thunderbird 429. It was fitted with the original tub and screws and I have had no problems with it since. FYI: I used a VERY light layer of gray RTV to hold the gasket in place during installation.

This gasket has 100% stopped my plug leaks. I hate traffic jams, I have a 54 year old F100 and had to upgrade the gearbox and engine. I tried using cork in a few places and it didn't work. I replaced the entire connector in the motor with silicone/rubber gaskets. This pad is the best quality I have ever used. 100% satisfied.
