It's cheap but definitely refuse

Brand New Fitted February. April 10 of the same year deteriorated. I will never buy anything from this brand again. The thermostat has never failed so quickly in my life.

  • Fitment Type: Vehicle Specific
Cons

Defective from the start

My Equinox was in the shop for an engine swap. The mechanic installed this new thermostat and found that it was faulty and wouldn't open. It cost me a day and a few extra dollars to get another.

Pros
  • Free for training purposes
Cons
  • Hard to tell

2012 Chevy Malibu V6 3.6L Thermostat Replacement

I was trying to replace the thermostat on my 2012 Chevy Malibu and found that there was a compression spring in the housing. Most people don't have enough thumb strength to push the thermostat in, so I can't get the old one out. Also, what is the cardboard tube that came with the thermostat for? I couldn't find a YouTube video on how to replace the thermostat on a 3.6 liter V6 engine and would rather do the repair myself.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Modern

Get full accommodation instead.

I bought this to replace the thermostat in my 09 g6 gxp. What I didn't know is that I really need to get the whole case because they put thermostats in. I wanted to return this item to get what I really need but since I have to pay for shipping which is more than half the cost of this item I was able to just keep it and eat the entire lot. Summary: The item arrived on time as described. The item is not a simple plug and play replacement. The return shipment is at your expense.
