Good item!: Caps

Works well on a 1990 Wrangler (YJ 2.5L): Good quality plastic and there is a key! No more words are needed to think about it.

Pros
  • Independent Emission Control
Cons
  • Gotchas

Not pretty, but it works.

It definitely doesn't look like an OEM, but it shuts securely and should deter people from stealing gas or, worse, putting in things they don't need.

Pros
  • Passes all state and federal emissions tests
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Works great with gas caps

Suitable for my 77 Toyota Corona. The sealant appears to be impermeable. It's black plastic. Others are chrome plated but cost more, this one was at a better price. I can recommend it.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • The list goes on.

I like this gas cap

I bought another gas cap with lock for my YJ jeep and it didn't fit. This one fits my 89 yj exactly. It doesn't have instructions but I figured you just need to reattach it and line up the holes.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • protection

Fits my 1988 Wrangler

Bought to replace an old cover on a 1988 Wrangler. The old lid didn't close properly and I believe that caused some of my gas to evaporate. This cap seems to have helped with my fuel loss because I didn't have to change as much gas after replacing the cap. The cap looks cheap but does the job and feels solid. It's covered by a license plate, so it doesn't matter. Not the best choice for show, but a good useful option. **Update: The rubber seal is dry rot. Less than a year has passed since the…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Useless features
