Bought to replace an old cover on a 1988 Wrangler. The old lid didn't close properly and I believe that caused some of my gas to evaporate. This cap seems to have helped with my fuel loss because I didn't have to change as much gas after replacing the cap. The cap looks cheap but does the job and feels solid. It's covered by a license plate, so it doesn't matter. Not the best choice for show, but a good useful option. **Update: The rubber seal is dry rot. Less than a year has passed since the purchase.
