Very happy. Did a trick.

Installation wasn't as difficult as I thought and after a week it's working perfectly. It took 15 years for the first one to break down so I assume this one will outlive the car.

Pros
  • Corrosion and abrasion resistant
Cons
  • Hard to say

Ford Superduty Door Jamb Sensor/Relay - Easy DIY

Just installed last week. There are some good YouTube videos to help you remove and install the door. I need this because when I close the driver's door, the radio and some of the lights in the cab stay on. This fixed that problem.

Pros
  • Switch & Relay
Cons
  • Blank

A real pleasure to work with

Installation on my 2003 Navigator was difficult but a lot of fun. Installing a door lock is a technical puzzle. But this study is really good technique. You must remove the power door latch assembly from the latch assembly. This is an "unlock and rotate" operation. You slide a small flathead screwdriver under the latch and slightly lift and rotate the lock assembly to remove it. This will allow you to rotate the door jamb relay 1/4 turn and remove it. The new one goes (back) quickly and easily.

Pros
  • Radiator Fan
Cons
  • Fits
