The product was easy to assemble and install.

Easy assembly and installation; The only thing to look out for with this and any rack mount device is to check if the TV or monitor power cable is closer to the metal VESA piece of this ceiling rack mount. I encountered this problem when installing the back of the TV. I've found that I can't connect the TV's power cord as most of the stand mount covers it. I was finally able to cut the piece of metal covering it off with my time and I'm also lucky to have a friend who has a saw to cut it.

Poor adjustability, not very stable

. The mount comes unassembled in a relatively small box. The kit includes a set of screws and washers. Oddly the mounting plate didn't fit my TV for horizontal mounting, I couldn't mount my TV with the tilt bracket. My solution was to tilt the mount 90 degrees on the mount, I've lost the tilt feature but the stand still tilts back as other reviewers have pointed out. I don't think it's going to fall off the ceiling but this mount is very wobbly, the tilt adjustment screw is so oddly placed that

I think the TV was a bit bigger than recommended but it was within the weight limit.

This product arrived shortly after I ordered it. It was made from heavy materials. I used it to mount a 48 inch flat screen TV above the fireplace on a ceiling beam in my office. I think the TV was a bit bigger than recommended but it was within the weight limit. In my case, I had to place the TV very close to the ceiling, so the mounting stand was too long. It can be adjusted, but even the shortest version is still too long. I ended up cutting the metal tube to make it shorter and drilled new…

Good mount with a clear design flaw

For its price this is a decent mount but with a design flaw so obvious and easy to fix. The down tube is attached with a screw at the top. Because the TV's weight is biased to one side, the down tube "points" onto a single screw, causing it to pivot in the opposite direction. So you get a bottom tube that falls at an angle in the opposite direction of the TV's weight. Simply adding a second screw would eliminate this. Of course you can drill it by hand like I did, but that's a significant…

Make sure that this product allows you to install the TV at a sufficiently low height.

This product is stuck in the middle. When used with a 42-inch TV, it's too high in the air to comfortably watch from a couch, but it's not designed for use with a smaller, larger TV. However, this product is quite cheap. , and works fine. So my solution was to go to Home Depot (Lowe's wasn't the right diameter) and buy an $8 piece of pipe and $1 some black spray paint. Cut the tube to the exact length, drill a few mounting holes, paint and so customize the mount to the exact TV and space. I…
