Great pedal but: Sport

Great pedal, I like the two way function but the tension adjustment is a bit lacking. The indentation feels non-existent. My rule of thumb is to turn fully on the negative side and then 2 steps back for perfect tension. If you can't feel the groove, you kind of don't know if you're setting the tension right. Other than that, they work fine.

So far so good, but the clips already show signs of rust

I was drawn to the overall size of these pedals. They sit right in the middle - not too big like a good flat pedal should be, but not super small like some other clipless pedals can be. That way I can buckle up when I'm out with my buddies, but when I'm camping with my family I have enough platform to work on. A bit disappointed that the clips start to rust after only 2 or 3 rides. Otherwise I like that they stay in a position where my toe can grab the pedal and flip it. The clamp tension…

A quality pedal with the option to use SPD spikes or regular shoes.

Many years ago I decided to switch to clipless pedals (the ones that require spikes on cycling shoes). I mostly ride light trails and roads, so I went with the SPD cleat style, commonly referred to as mountain bike pedals. They are designed for dustier conditions and are easy to clean. I got a different bike and needed a different set of clipless pedals, so I decided to try these. They're half the price of the Shimano I already have on another bike. It was a tough decision as Shimano is over 20

Not bad for normal driving!

I use Crank Bros Eggbeater pedals on my mountain bike, but I wanted to be able to use regular shoes on my eMTB. So I got myself a pair of these dual purpose flats. They were easy to assemble without much effort. I can confirm that they are very easy to use when not wearing cycling shoes. Any shoe will work great. Not all cycling shoes work well with these pedals. My fifteen year old Cannondale hiking and biking clip has no problem! But my Shimano mountain bike shoes have such a cleat…

Affordable alternative to Shimano

I've used Shimano PD-EH500 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FTB9MCW/) reversible pedals a few times now on my CX bike. They are 100% awesome so I was hoping to put something like this on my Trek Marlin. I've had mediocre to bad experiences with other manufacturers' pedals in the past, so I didn't know what to expect from these GEWAGE pedals. Installation was easy, although slightly different from other pedals I've used before. You actually tighten them with a hex bolt, not a wrench…
