Fragile hands, but how soft!

The handles of this set are very thin and easily deformed. It was much more difficult to align the arms so that they don't get caught while running 24/7. One of the washers was also missing. Only came with a black washer. I liked the silence that this kit offers. No ticking second hand. It just glides so quietly. Due to my sister's frequent migraine attacks, I needed something quiet that wouldn't drive her crazy in her quiet office at work. The only thing that makes this thing worth buying is…

Easy to install and comfortable to own

Well made and smooth driving. The perfect size I was looking for to replace the original unit that came with the watch. 1-2-3 instructions that were easy to follow if you've never done this work before. Remember rule number one when replacing your broken assembly: be sure to measure the movement's stem length (from the base to the unmounted tip [which removes it from the old clock and removes the hands]), and be careful Check the size of the hole in the bottom of the watch for a perfect fit…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Very easy to install

This movement works great. My only issue was that I didn't notice from the photos that a hanger was not included. It was clearly my fault but it meant they were useless to me as the clock is glass and I have no other way to hang it. I left feedback to the seller tonight on this subject as well, much to my amazement and delight; The seller offered me a full refund without having to return the product (all the packaging is now thrown away!). Excellent customer service and I would highly recommend

Quiet beautiful watch.

It was great for my project! I read so many reviews where people said it couldn't raise the minute hand or was noisy. First, it's absolutely silent. I put my ear to it and can't hear anything. The second hand is continuous, so there are no clicks from it. Second, I have a feeling that people who have complained about the minute hand not going up probably didn't push it all the way. I really had to squeeze it before I finally felt it click. Can't comment on the battery life yet, but I'm very…

Good replacement for old watches.

It was a promotional watch. A friend who owns a grocery store gave it to me in 2003 because it didn't tell the time accurately. I found that the quartz movement's magnet coil pole was weak and remagnetized it by rubbing it against the speaker magnet. It was working until last week and while trying to do the same repair I broke the coil wire to the circuit board. So I ordered a Mudder replacement kit and installed it in this old clock. I have salvaged shaft nuts and washers from a damaged…
