I bought this kit to work on my mk5 GTI mainly but also my other VWs etc. The quality is really nice. It doesn't look like the chrome is coming off or anything. Nicely built, I like the case because it's not bulky and just works. Won't open or anything. So if you want a good set of sockets at a low price, I will definitely get one. You really can't beat the price. I'm going to order a set of triple squares now.

Very impressed with these heads. Used them to work on an old truck where corrosion and seized bolts were a problem. While probably not recommended, I've used these bushings on impact and they handled the torque with no problem (probably over 100 ft-lbs). I've also used them with a jackhammer and there is no visible warping or wear on the bits. I'm definitely happy with this price and will check out other Neiko tools in the future!

This is the second set of these sockets I've bought, one for my parents and one for me. Torx isn't a very common screw until you start working on cars. My old Saab used mostly Torx, my Jeep uses a lot of Torx, and my girlfriend's car uses Torx. It should be noted that about half of this set uses a 1/4" driver and the other half uses a 3/8" driver, which isn't a big deal if you know in advance. I am very happy with this Neiko Torx bit set. I needed a T40 bit to replace a worn tailgate stay on my old Town & Country minivan. The Neiko end cap did an excellent job of removing the 4 old push studs and installing the new studs with no issues. Although now easily visible that the socket wrench is being used, it has held up well and inspired confidence. The racket stays in great condition for the next use.
