Good value for money, I recommend it.

I use 24-120 with D7100 and D750. On the D7100 it seems too sharp, since the camera does not have an LPF filter. Good focus range. distances. F4 is not a problem - Modern cameras have a fairly good range of ISO 3000 and more. Vignette - The D750 camera has a button to switch to crop mode - 30x20 and 24x16, which solves the problem of vignetting and expands the fleet of used optics from FF to DX. You can shoot macro, allows the minimum focusing distance and camera crop function - 1.5. On the…

Pros
  • Versatility, auto-focus with the D750 is quite adequate in any focusing mode, a completely working aperture of F4. "Pricey" but what can you buy from Nikon for this money? I bought a new one for 36.6 with delivery at the beginning of the year. Holds backlight well even without a hood. Stub, quite adequate.
Cons
  • There is a place to be HA - noticeable with a strong increase. Vignetting at 24mm and "F4". "a vacuum cleaner".

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

In general, I am very pleased with the lens. Talk about f / 4 there and therefore dark - this is for girls. Stupidly we set instead of ISO200 - ISO400 and all stops are half as much, set ISO800 and we can assume that you have f / 1.0 (just kidding .) For FF type D600, ISO400 is absolutely working, if there are no special tasks for super sharpness and a super-large image, then you can easily drive up to ISO1600. Further - on the fan, of course. Regarding the depth of field - at f / 4, as it is

Pros
  • Convenient focal lengths, the best travel zoom for a full frame camera. Sharp at f / 4, and at FF this aperture is really enough to create depth of field! I don’t quite understand the physical meaning of this phenomenon, but the fact is, you can really shoot portraits on 4-ke, at 75-120 it turns out just magically, I didn’t expect it! It's nice to have a stabilizer. Really pulls out during night shooting, when there is no tripod and stop. Very, again, VERY nice picture! All sorts of different tests of MTF, XA, distortion, vignetting and so on, which various forums abound in many - all this is nonsense, against the "beautiful" picture. Those who have been shooting on film for many years still remember lenses for Olympus Zuiko, old Nikon glasses, and so on. Unfortunately, the "beauty" of the picture is a subjective thing - but, here, it's really obvious. On FF you can see that this is the "correct" lens in the picture. Very reminiscent of 16-85 f / 3.5-5.6 for APS. Obviously, it is not a portrait or landscape lens, just a good lens for all occasions for FF, which, with proper processing of NEF negatives, allows you to get the most out of the matrix and out of the picture.
Cons
  • Heavy. In reality, the D600 with fifty dollars and with it is heaven and earth. Convenient for almost all cases, but heavy. Chromatitis, but easy to treat with a one-click NEFF to FS converter. It distorts at the wide end, and this can also be treated in FS, but . the picture is no longer the same. Group portraits are best avoided. Sucked up the dust. It is not visible in the picture, but these dust particles are straining ;-) Hefty filters, if anyone uses. The front lens is really hefty, leaving it without a protective filter is blasphemy, and a good 77 mm filter is about 1000!

Good value for money, I recommend.

I use on D800. This is my first FX zoom. Chose from two. In the store, both are exactly the same. During the week I checked on landscapes, architecture and a few portraits. The picture is clearly higher in quality than on the DX18-200. Not inferior to fixes 24 / 2.8 and 50 / 1.4 in terms of AF accuracy (in 3/4 of the central region frame). HA is also higher at the edges. In landscapes, you can crop without looking edges by 5%. The portraits turned out well. GRIP is convenient for me. Bokeh…

Pros
  • 1. Convenient range of focal lengths. 2. High detail and good color reproduction. 3. Good wagon.
Cons
  • 1. Narrow focus ring. 2. A different value of the AF adjustment value has come to light. At 24 mm -10, at 50 mm -8, at 120 mm -5. Inconvenient, stopped at -7. 3. We only have 77mm filters on order.

Nice price, good quality.

In general, a good universal lens on the FF. Very sharp throughout the frame, starting from open F4.0. Covers most everyday tasks. At 120 mm, it separates the background very well even in full-length portraits (in full frame). Focuses quickly, accurately and quietly, even at dusk or in a dark room. Qualitatively and tightly assembled, gives the impression of a good thing. Although for this money they could collect in Japan. Here Canon 24-105 F4 is close in price, but Japanese. With manual…

Pros
  • - convenient FR range (only 28-300 is more convenient) - good stabilizer - fast, quiet and tenacious focus - good sharpness - nice colors
Cons
  • - big, heavy, rather expensive - play of the focus ring - simple bokeh (if anyone cares)

Mine is made in Thailand. As for advice to take / not to take. I use it on trips, only, so it suits me, but there is one thing. It just so happens that I use it either at 24 (80%) or at 100-120 (15%), for the rest of the focal lengths about 5%. Therefore, it is probably worth considering 16-35/4 (reporter for narrow European streets). P. S. I chose m / y 24-70 / 2.8 and 24-120 / 4 for a long time, took pictures of both, but in fact, the difference is not noticeable, so is it worth…

Pros
  • A wide range of focal lengths, quite sharp, I shoot on d300s.
Cons
  • Slow autofocus.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

I consider it an excellent regular travel zoom, if I may say so. The lens is not cheap, but there is VR and good focal lengths that almost cover all my needs. Light weight allows you to carry it everywhere without much effort. The drawing is excellent, the bokeh is just a waste! As always, Nikon is on top! The only thing that was slightly alarming was f4, but on normal carcasses this is not important!

Pros
  • Focal length range; VRII works out at 100%; Interesting VR active mode - allows you to reduce the shake of the camera (not the lens), it is convenient when you shoot from the car; Fast, silent focusing; light weight I liked the recesses on the lens under the fingers
Cons
  • Plastic construct, but this is most likely not a drawback, this is probably my mentality. Haven't found more yet. Low aperture, but there is no shortage on the D700, since the device pulls out at high ISOs without noise.

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I bought this lens for every day, and did not regret it at all. I use with my Nikon D610. focuses quickly. I managed to shoot them on my trip to Shanghai, and all the photos are unrealistically clear! at a focal length of 100-120 mm, it produces very soft and deep bokeh. By the way, its counterpart from Canon seemed to me not so good, if only because the max. his focal length is 105 mm, and this one has 120. so you can also shoot birds. so as a 14 year old photographer, I'm happy with it.

Pros
  • large range of focal lengths, constant and large enough aperture, very sharp, has a nano-crystalline coating, proprietary stabilizer with vibration reduction mode, the zoom trunk does not extend much, and it looks very tight :)
Cons
  • They are not here.
