The Ninja is without a doubt an incredibly powerful and versatile machine. It seems to tackle any job and the size of the bowl helps to prevent having to work in batches. Cleaning the many and intricate parts is the only negative. Soaking is definitely the best solution. Compared to the reviews of other food processors (regarding cleaning) this one is WAY better. My first use I made a broccoli cheddar soup. It chopped the onion, carrots, broccoli and the cheese! What a time saver.

It sure sounds high powered - first time I used it it sounded like a vacuum. Very loud. There will be no clandestine blending in my kitchen lol. There are a lot of cool features but whoever designed that lid system is not the one who does dishes at their own house. It has nested pieces for running various kinds of foods through the lid, but to make them nest, there are several tiny odd shaped openings that do not fit a sponge or a scrub brush. This will be interesting.

I have used Cuisinart food processors for many years. I was tired of the inferior performance and cheap plastic construction so I tried this Ninja one instead and the difference is night and day. This processor is more powerful, larger and more sturdy. It does the job quickly and efficiently. I especially like the 3 sized feed tube. It is easy to take apart and clean as well. The product description doesn't say this (at the time of this review anyway) but this unit shuts off automatically after about 60 seconds of use; that is not good when making smooth dips as it get very annoying to have to constantly restart it. Additionally, the blades as not as curved as they look in the pictures, I was counting on that as a means of prevent air pockets, but all the extra blades amount to is something else in the way when I inevitably have to scrape the chamber and restart.

This thing is a dream to use. Just make sure whoever is cleaning up or putting away the blades has been forewarned about how sharp they are!

After one use this seems to be a great product. I do wish a user's manual was included in the box. A link to the manual is provided within the product's description on Revain, but a paper copy would have been appreciated.

I love this thing, I use the chop preset mostly, with two blades, the chop on mushrooms is incredibly consistent. Since it is a timed cycle, I wasn't wondering if I should stop pushing the button the whole time. I did use the puree button today, for onions, garlic, and tomatoes. this blender/chopper has made my life SO easy. I almost gave up on cooking many of my traditional foods because it needed extensive prep but this chopper has made my life so easy.

This unit replaced my 12 year old Cusinart. When it arrived it was bigger than I expected! But wow does it ever work well. I got it to fit in its assigned spot in the kitchen, and have used most of the features. All in all it seems very powerful and way faster than the Cusinart for the kinds of tasks I gave it. I am very happy with it and as long as you have the space for it (measure where you want it, cuz its BIG!) I recommend it.

This is a great food processor; it remains secure on the counter, has a quiet powerful motor, and is easy to use. It has a variable food chute and is piece of cake to clean.

You can make anything in this. I bought two ninja products, this one and a small 20.00 one. They are great! Guacamole, hummus, cocoa truffles, all kinds of veggies, dough, etc

I like cheese. I hate paying extra for shredded cheese. But I also hate the work that goes into hand shredding cheese. This monster solves all of those problems. And it does other things too.

The double blades and high volume bowl make quick work of any project. Not at all sorry I purchased this upgrade when my old machine failed. Made my sauce making during the canning season much easier!

This is an excellent food processor. SO easy to clean and operate. We brought back some pears from my mother's house and used this processor to chop them to a medium consistency for pear preserves. I couldn't have been more happy with the outcome.

I have one and got one for my mother. It is easy to use, clean, change parts, empty contents, etc. It is powerful and I am about to use it now.

Now that I've had a chance to use this mixer/blender for a few things, I can rate it. It mixes light dough well, blends better than my Bosch blender, and shreds to my satisfaction. I will put the slicing disk in the dishwasher, but wash the rest of it by hand. I haven't had good experiences washing any plastic products like this in the dishwasher. It tends to make the plastic weak so that it breaks. I do have a trick that I use with my Bosch as well, and that is to remove your food from the…
