Good paper for practice or small work

I really like drawing with ink and watercolor and it's a good paper. I'm not a big fan of perfect binding because sometimes when you try to take a sheet out of the wrapper it breaks. However, if you make watercolors that you want to keep, you will most likely stretch them out with paper. Tape and trim the edges anyway. So it's not really a deal breaker. I would like some carrier sheets that will allow me to do some basic work and experiment before I get to the final work. These carrier sheets are perfect for dies. This is important because I've had some shipping issues where I've put boxes in standing puddles causing boxes to fall apart in my hands.
