Nice Smoker: Kettle

There are two small dents on the lid which I pulled out by gently pressing with my hand on the inside where the dents are. Overall this is a great smokehouse. Remember to line the smoker with foil for easier cleaning.

Tasty is wonderful! the best in kitchen and dining room

my husband uses it at least once a week! We smoked almost everything in it! Including making your own smoked sea salt! Fish with alder, delicious! Our small apartment does NOT smoke! All winter we enjoyed smoked meat!

I've been skeptical about oven fumes for a while. I live in an apartment in New York with smoke detectors. I installed a smoker and put a fan on the window to blow the smoke out of the kitchen. I love it! in Cookware

Arrived with a dent on the top (but was reduced in price as a 'second life item'). I followed the instructions for the letter "T" - I used diapers on the grill and tray. I also added a thin layer of water to the pan. I ran my burner and it got 218/219 in the first 20 minutes. There was a thin layer of smoke on the sides, but that was normal. But then I cranked the burner to medium to hit 221 in 40 minutes. The wood chips caught fire and my kitchen filled with smoke. So, keep your burners low…

Find another place to spend money.

Firstly as other reviews have mentioned it was poorly packaged with no padding around the item so there could be some damage to the top. I don't know if the binding around the lid handle was caused by shipping or just poor riveting technique of the handle to the lid. I have used it several times. The first was to "smoke" a piece of salmon. The recipe calls for the "wet method," which essentially boils the fish. If I want to cook fish, I know how to do it.
