    He does what I need. Mashed potatoes!

    It works great for mashing potatoes and mashing ground turkey over spaghetti. But sometimes food gets stuck in the grooves. However, this is normal, a normal press machine will do this as well. The color goes well with my kitchen.

    Before you buy.: Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

    Tried mince and mince. it wasn't what i expected. Meat gets stuck between gaps, whether it's half cooked or fully cooked meat. I haven't tried it with puree yet, but it could work better. This is my first time buying and using one of these items, I may buy a different type. I don't recommend buying it if I might be using it incorrectly.

    I am so happy I bought and used this product and I cook a lot with ground beef, pork and turkey. I usually use a flat-bottomed wooden spoon, but I figured this would save a lot of time. I used it once and really felt it was more of an annoyance than a help. I used it to press on the meat and all the meat got stuck between the plastic shafts and then turned into a piece of meat and it just mashed the beef instead of separating it. There must be a better design.

    The best mincer.

    OK MANY reviewers complain about a hamburger (or other ground beef) getting stuck in this chopper. Yes, but I'll leave the wand on the stove and clean it. Lasts about 5 seconds. Once the meat is partially cooked, it will stop sticking. I used to use a bamboo spoon or spatula, which left large chunks of meat. This gives me very fine minced meat for my biscuits and gravy, chili or whatever. If you don't want it to be finely chopped, stop chopping. Just like this one. I love this tool!

    Study, well made, just painful to clean

    The tool itself is well made, strong and well made. The problem lies in the design. I use this a lot when slicing ground beef or minced sausage and whatever I'm slicing tends to get stuck in the "blades" requiring another tool to remove. The "blades" are too narrow to fit a regular sponge and too wide for most drain cleaning brushes. I suppose if you throw everything in the dishwasher the last issue is NOT an issue, but having a second tool to get food stuck in the blades is reason enough to…
