My dog that I have had for a year, I saved him, I decided to chew my remote control, he could not be saved at all! I was so happy that Revain had it and that I got it fairly quickly, the only thing that annoyed me was that it didn't have batteries and I didn't so I had to go and get the batteries but other than that it was great!

Connects quickly to TV but has limited DVD control. There's no DVD menu button on the remote, making accessing multiple workout videos a hassle. I have to quickly skim the first video before I can access the next one. Overall much better than any regular remote I've tried so I would buy it again.

As far as I can tell this is the exact same remote that originally came with my Insignia NS-39D220NA16 HDTV. All buttons work and do exactly what they are supposed to. According to my TV manual, it should also be fully compatible with the Insignia NS-43D420NA16 (43"), Insignia NS-50D420NA16 (50") and Insignia NS-50D420MX16 (also 50") HDTVs.

I have two Insignia TVs (Best Buy private label) at home. Each of the two different models uses different remote controls; However, both on/off buttons stopped working. It wasn't a bad battery issue as the rest of the buttons worked just fine. I went to Best Buy to have the remotes replaced and they were over $30 each. I bought the exact same remotes here at Revain and they are less than $8 each. All I had to do was put the batteries in and I was back in business.

Pros: Remote works great. I have purchased this product 5 times over the years due to various pets, spills, being stepped on/thrown, family life etc. Cons: Changing batteries is a deadly exercise as the AAA compartment is so small and cramped that BOBBY PIN is too thick to put in (requires less key or back of remote control). It's better than Best Buy's which barely worked. It has issues, but it can handle the basics. It doesn't have all the features of my original. The catalog only shows the current show. You cannot scroll to watch the show later in the day. Manual channel entry is the most annoying. You have to be quick or the remote control will be disabled. For example, if I enter 7.1 but don't get .1 in time, the remote control stops working. I have to manually change the channel on the TV itself to any working
