qualitative. Works perfectly!

Delivery on time. quality goods. Easy installation. The wide-angle lens captures a large field of view. Sentence. When drilling the door, pay attention to the size of the drill. Tip: It's best to drill a slightly smaller hole first to ensure the fit is tight with the smaller inside. 2. Tip: The outer part has a nice folded edge. Use a garden hose shim under the outer flanged lip to ensure a tighter fit on the door. Good view too. We recommend!

The extra wide angle is useful to ensure no one is trying to hide from view.

I purchased this unit for my Refusal to Be a Victim Training Demonstration Toolkit. A wide angle IS wide enough that it is difficult for someone to hide from the view. While the product works well, if you have reason to be suspicious about opening the door, slowly prepare yourself to slam and bolt when someone comes running. This will be useful in hostels, apartments or hotels.

Pros
  • Pretty Packaging

No instructions, fell apart

This was without instructions. I didn't know what size drill bit to use. I used the largest nozzle I had, but it turned out to be a bit small. I was able to attach the inner piece with a rubber mallet, but when I tried to screw in the outer piece it wouldn't work. I think it might be screwed in wrong, but when I tried to unscrew it, the lens mechanism came loose and many small parts fell to the ground. There are 2 lenses inside, I didn't know how they connect. I tried my best but now the view…

What a cool peephole

What a cool peephole! Easy installation, very wide angle. My front step is very low and I accidentally adjusted it a little high on the door. I was nervous that I couldn't see the person's face or torso, just as I couldn't if the hole was drilled without a peephole. After installation I could even see the bottom of the first tier! I didn't have a large enough drill bit, so I had to get creative with a smaller drill bit and slowly drill out the larger hole. The peephole installation consisted of

Crystal clear, this peephole is a safety must-have. I tested it and can't see anything when I look outside. There is no reason to buy a more expensive peephole with an internal protection plate. It's just an extra step to open the protection panel to see who's outside. It works perfectly. I installed it on a steel door myself in about 10 minutes. No instructions were provided, but it was an easy DIY and I'll explain how I installed it on the bottom of my steel door: 1) I found a height that…
