Good Guess - Saws, Parts & Accessories

This purchase was based on feedback from other customers. I wasn't sure which is better as there are different brands in different regions of our country. I was happy with this purchase. The blade holds well and cuts copper and hardwoods. I will probably buy this brand again for home use.

Pros
  • Easy to use and very durable product
Cons
  • Available in black only

High quality blade that cuts great

This is the first high quality blade I've tried on my 8" Delta band saw and damn it! I will be buying Olson saw blades from now on. The only problem I had was with the saw and not the blade. The upper blade guide bearing was not adjusted enough to clear a 3/8 inch wide blade. I ended up tweaking the lead a bit to increase the available adjustment for the camp.

Pros
  • Pre-hardened carbon steel
Cons
  • Goes away

It's like having a new machine

I recently bought a Delta band saw, it worked but I wasn't impressed. Once I replaced the standard blade with an Olson blade, it was day and night. Literally like cutting butter, and even the sound of a spinning saw sounds more serious. I know that last part doesn't really matter, but it made a huge difference in my experience with the saw and I bet everyone else would have the same experience if they weren't impressed with the saw they are using would.

Pros
  • Sawing with saws
Cons
  • Slightly dented
