Enough holes to cause problems with my '86 CJ7. It is necessary to drill and cut 5 holes, it does not matter much. The hex head screws look nice but are cumbersome to install. Torque specifications are not available in the instructions.

The quality of the valve cover is very good. However, after using a few gaskets, I ended up having to use the black gasket on both sides of the gasket and essentially glue it to the engine head to keep it from leaking! I don't blame the cover, I blame the Jeep engine. I used this to replace the factory plastic valve cover on my 1985 CJ7.
