Big load of sand, perfect for small children

After reading the reviews I decided to give this brand of kinetic sand a try. My niece asked for it for her birthday so I bought 2 bags. This sand is great! Not only did it move well, but it held its shape as we molded it. It didn't stick to our hand and became a cleaner alternative to their clay. I enjoyed it as much as they did! There was only one pouch in each bag, not several, so I bought an airtight container to store it while we weren't using it. Both sandbags fit in the 12 cup bin…

Not just for toddlers

I bought this sand to let my bored teens play this summer! The whole family loved it! We have had expensive Brookstone kinetic sand in the past. It's great and fun to play too, but it's a much cheaper version. Yes, it's a bit darker, but that's what we liked about it. My girls had a lot of fun crafting with it. I don't think more expensive brands would afford such hearty designs. My youngest is 10 so we don't have little baby hands that want to play with him. Perhaps a slimmer stand would be…

Not bad for craft kits

I'm an adult and I'm playing with this, I know it sounds childish but it's really a lot of fun. I first discovered it in Brookstone at my local mall and was intrigued by it but never intended to own it. Years later I saw it and decided why not. From my expectations it is the same as the one I used when playing with it. It's dry to the touch, but depending on what type of person you are, your sweat glands may force you to dry your hand before playing as this will cause it to fall apart more…

  • Enjoyable

Good product! A lot of fun!

Bought this and a box of National Geographic Play Sand at the same time to compare, found this. The Nat Geo brand is fine-grain sand. It is slightly darker and much lighter than the Kinetic Sand brand. (I bought natural/undyed for each type.) However, it also shows fine detail much better than the kinetic sand brand and feels more comfortable as the finer sand makes it smoother and softer. It looks almost fluffy. The kinetic type of sand is wetter and harder, so it holds its shape better. It…

A sensory product that encourages creativity! (Just keep it dry, trust me!)

* Independent Review: No discounts or freebies. We paid to play! 😁Not all "kinetic sands" are created equal, so note in the description that they intentionally made this one with a coarser grit to mimic beach sand (which it does perfectly), so don't expect the subtle softness of the fine grit Type! :- Flexibility and viscosity.- Dimensional stability (only under the right conditions).- Sensory use! This is a good pacifier for our autistic people. Self-adhesion is pretty good. If it doesn't get
