Works great - rebuild kits

This kit had everything I needed to rebuild my Tecumseh carburetor and get my old mower working again. I would recommend this to a friend.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • unreliable

Worked well for my fuel system

Had to replace an age hardened primer bulb got this kit in case there was a problem with the float. I will keep it in stock. Parts for those old Tecumseh engines are getting harder and harder to come by.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

I had to adjust the float so that the needle.

I had to adjust the float so that the needle does not block the carburetor inlet when the tank is empty. If no adjustment is made, the mower will turn off after a few seconds.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Fixed my Craftsman mower

Repairing is cheaper than buying new! My Craftsman mower stopped working. He continued to die from lack of gas. Sears charges too much for their replacement parts, so I bought them online. Much cheaper. It is easy to repair, the parts are high quality and fit perfectly. The mower works like new. Better than paying $375 for a new mower :-)

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Nothing here

Inexpensive replacement for overpriced OEM rebuild kit

Poor design, injector placement in float bowl but . engineers. This kit is a great replacement for the OEM Tecumseh 730637A Rebuild Kit. Be careful when disassembling the old carburetor as well as unpacking this kit. Keep track of where everything goes, including springs, injectors, needle and gasket. Every location and orientation counts! There are no customizations in this set and they are not needed. When reinstalling the float chamber on the carburetor, pay close attention to how the pins…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Secret

Don't expect it to work right away (and have a fire extinguisher handy!)

Let me upfront by saying I'm not a beginner in mechanics and I'm not new to working on a carburetor. My Craftsman lawn mower had an issue that caused me to fill it up, it started and then died after a few seconds. Cleaning the carburetor and replacing some o-rings didn't help so I bought this kit. After installation, the problem persisted, but now it was even very difficult to fill it. I disassembled the carburetor again, removed the bowl and found that the float, needle and seat were extremely
