This works as it should.

When using this tool, loosen the nut but do not remove it completely. Just loosen it until it is flush with the top of the stud. Then insert the tool and insert a coin between the nut and the center pin of the tool and tighten. In this way, bolts, nuts or threads are not damaged. Tighten your hand as tight as you can. If it doesn't pop out, just wiggle the blade a little and it will pop out.

Worked great for me!

Ordered with some hesitation due to bad reviews. Work on my wife's 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 cockpit. The wiper arms would not come off after the shaft was impregnated with penetrating oil. Put everything back together and ordered this tool and the more expensive one that got better reviews. This one worked fine. Cut off both hands with little effort. Impressed, it worked great and was very easy to use. Hands have not been touched for 14 years. I'd say if this doesn't work for you, your wipers are…

Rubbish if you want to use it for the E46.

If you are buying this for a BMW E46, NOT! I have been assured that this is the tool you must have. If its "teeth" were long enough, as was the arm that supports the bolt, it would work, although I highly doubt you can turn the knob to remove the wiper arm after it's been in the sun for some time was . a few years. This is especially important as you will be working on the left side of the E46 with limited space between the windshield and hood. This might not be the right model, but if it is…

This is actually a well made tool, appears to be quality metal and the legs at the other end of the handle are of good thickness so I don't think it will bend unless you misuse it aligns with use. The Nissan Cube is not suitable for wiper arm removal simply because there is a rubber seal on the Nissan wiper arm shaft cap that prevents the tool from being placed in the correct position so that you can actually use it for its intended purpose. (otherwise it's basically a gear puller concept). So…

Jaw puller does the job best

I shoot about 6 or 7 sets of wipers a day in the auto glass industry. This way you get rid of most annoying wiper arms that get stuck to the wiper bolt over time. Living in New England, this is a handy tool I use about every other day for that one PITA wiper arm that won't come off when asked nicely. I have found that when you loosen the wiper nut about 90% this baby lies with his legs directly over the nut under the base of the wiper arm and slowly rotates until there is a lot of pressure on…

Works great - tools and gear

Essential if you need to remove the wiper arm on your Camaro 02. When you raise the wipers to clean the windshield, you better remember to lower them before opening the hood (otherwise the hood will break them off like branches). Yes, the other day after washing, I was in a hurry to dry the car and learned it the hard way. The wiper arm is also pushed down so it can't be pryed open as the windscreen is directly above and plastic below. So there's nothing to remove that won't break if you try…

Will not fit 2003 BMW 5 Series Sedan or 2010 Acura RDX.

I purchased an OTC wiper puller 4676 to remove the passenger side wiper arm on my BMW e39 (2003 530i Sedan). Unfortunately the tool doesn't work as there isn't enough depth to center the tool on the wiper arm (see photo). The tool may work if you've modified it with a grinder or dremel to add depth, but this can affect the strength of the tool. Out of curiosity, I tried the tool (OTC 4676) on a 2010 Acura RDX rear wiper and I'm having the same depth issue (see photo). I then tried the tool on…

Perfect Wiper Arm Removal Tool for 2011 Mini Cooper

This tool is perfect for removing BMW Mini Cooper Wiper Arm. In the last 30+ years I have accumulated enough tools to start a business, but I had nothing to remove the passenger side wiper arm on my wife's Mini Cooper until I got this tool. I've tried every possible configuration with my many pullers, but they were either too bulky or the jaw tips were too big and caught on the edges of the lever and kept popping out. Before my tool arrived I resorted to a gusset puller and a cheap battery pin…
