🔧 OTC (0400) External Straight Tip Snap Ring Plier - .070 Inch Diameter Straight Review

A very misleading photo. much shorter if the axle is run on 2005-2010 F250-F550 4x4 instead of ordering "0600". This is the one you will need.

Pliers are well made but not as pictured, they don't have a reach as advertised and are just over 7 inches long instead of 9.4 as advertised but I need they be longer.

I have a full set of good circlip pliers in a case I bought from Revain. They are good and I thought I had all the snap ring pliers I would ever need. But I was wrong. They just didn't have enough retaining ring in the motorcycle driveshaft. They were long enough and did their job.

I ordered them from 3 different suppliers and none of them matched this picture. I sent them all back for a refund. . I needed the pliers shown in the picture to remove the retaining ring from a Honda Civic LX 01 air conditioning compressor. The thin long fingers and 1-2 inch diameter shank made the tool in the picture perfect for the job.

I bought these because I needed a longer reach. The tool has been modified and doesn't have long, straight arms to reach very far. Now it looks like standard snap ring pliers.
