Great TORX Socket for Automotive Use

Based on my experience this TORX Socket is A great addition to my automotive tool collection. It’s well-made and durable, and the square shape makes for a comfortable grip. The size options are varied enough to accommodate most needs. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricier compared to other similar tools, but the quality justifies the price. Overall, I highly recommend this TORX Socket for any automotive enthusiast or professional mechanic in need of a reliable tool..

Pros
  • Well-made, durable, comfortable grip, varied size options
Cons
  • Pricey compared to other similar tools

Great if you know this trick.

The trick is to use it with an 8mm open end wrench instead of a 3/8" drive when you are in really tight spaces. Using this technique in combination with a wooden wedge, I was able to remove the tensioner pulley when changing the timing belt on my car, which worked quite well, as there was not enough space to put a normal socket wrench on it.

Pros
  • Sold by the piece
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
