OXO Good Grips Non Stick Frypan Review

UPDATE: I received a very nice email from Revain apologizing for these issues and promising to fix them. Changed to 5 stars because the pan is great. But - make sure yours isn't damaged! :-) It's just a wonderful frying pan - the best I've ever had (and I'm 51 years old). However, when I tried to order another one, it was damaged. I sent it back and the next one was damaged too. I hope the third time is the charm!

I love OXO products and have never had a problem with them. When I needed a skillet to replace my Calphalon non-stick coating, I turned to OXO. I even saw it at American Test Kitchen and it got great reviews. However, having used this pan for less than a month and only 1-2 times a week, there are a few scratches on it. I purchased these pans after being disappointed with my nonstick T-Fal pans. My TFal pans don't have a flat bottom; Butter and eggs avoid the center and form puddles on the outer edge of the pan. The 8 inch pan I received is shallow. Unfortunately, the 10" pan is domed in the center. The photo shows the behavior of water being poured into the center of the pan. I have had this 8 inch pan for just over 3 months and there were 2 small spots on the non stick coating where the coating was peeling. Cooking is not my hobby and I use it 2-3 times a week on average. I also wash by hand. I will contact OXO for a refund. Follow-up: Support responded quickly to my first email.
