Bought to replace another device. I chose this item for the easy-to-read dial and storage box. Used once, happy with it. I would buy it again.

I bought this thermometer and haven't used it to date 02/20/21 only to find out it doesn't work! Watch face stuck at 180 degrees, my return date was 2-05, I'm very upset.

As this is my second broken thermometer. I am measuring liquid food and just received it today and it has barely warmed up and the thermometer reads 170. it's coming back

I liked this device until I used it and realized that the temperature readings were extremely inaccurate. Compared to two other working thermometers that measure the same spot on a roast, this oxo thermometer reads a good twenty degrees less than it should.

I bought this brand new oven thermometer because I had 11 people on Christmas Eve to buy a 10.5 pound rib roast. An hour later it read 150 degrees which was WRONG. I had to buy 3 other thermometers from drug stores and they were all more accurate than this piece of crap. Thanks for nothing, OXO.

I went through 2 of them and gave up. The first was clouded by condensation the first time it was used. I have sent back and replaced. The second cooked 1 turkey. The second time it was used, it was initially 200 degrees. Tried it anyway and it just went up from 200. Gave it back too. Now I'm looking for another option. However, it is really easy to read.

During the pandemic I have been cooking more and needed a good thermometer. This works fine. I like that the temperature ranges are available on the base cover. I'm older so I like the larger font that's here. This is a good buy for me.

Couldn't believe how quickly it heated up to temperature. Seems accurate and has contributed to perfectly cooked dishes on my charcoal grill. I pocket a thermometer after searing when switching to indirect heat. Instead of poking a few holes in my roast to check the final temp, I stick this thermometer in and leave it in place. Although I use it with indirect heat, I haven't tried direct heat and I'm not sure I will.

I bought this for my wife as a stocking filler. She used it twice and both times the temperature wasn't accurate. This indicates the meat is done, but when we cut the meat it's not done yet. I'm tired of returning it and it's outside the return window which is very disappointing. I want to make sure you buy this item to use it immediately so you know if it is correct or not and can return it if it is not. Using OXO to manufacture quality products is very disappointing.
