    Perfect all terrain tire

I'm not a competitive type. In a bike I prefer puncture protection, durability, going fast, good looks and value for money. You tick every box. I did it at Surly Crosscheck in Dallas, Texas. I take them everywhere from glass-lined bike lanes to gravel trails along the Trinity River. After 1000 miles there seems to be 2/3 of the track left in the rear. The front tire has minimal signs of wear. So far no apartments. There are certainly more flexible tires, but they can hardly be surpassed in…

    Durable, more ride, less maintenance.

I ride my road bike in the city. These tires are great. A real upgrade from Kenda and other popular tires that fit 27x1.4 rims. I like that these tires can handle higher pressure for a harder ride. They hold up well and have made my commute and commute more comfortable. I can really recommend them. I have them on a Panasonic Sport 500 from the 80's. You look great too. I love rubber band walls for that vintage look. It took me over a year, maybe almost two, to finally blow my whistle. I usually

1 marriage, 1 not the best at sport

Firstly, I like the fact that (with inner tubes) I can walk anywhere from 40 to 80 pounds. and get a different ride depending on the terrain. Mounted on a Specialized Diverge, they spend 80% of their time on mixed-grade pavement and 20% on gravel and dirt. At low PSI they do well on medium gravel but I didn't hit anything deep or much washboard. One of the tires had a lot of wobble when I first got this. I thought maybe I installed it badly or the hose was pinched, but I had to make a long…

Very good tires if you manage to mount them.

Bought a pair for my gravel breaker. I previously bought the 26 version. Smooth ride on paved roads and comfortable ride on packed gravel. The 26's are a bit tricky to mount but I put them on the Mavic rims. So I got a 700cc and my first install was painful but somehow I managed to fit it into my Ambrosio Gentleman rim. The second was a nightmare. It was terribly difficult to install. Tire belt diameter looked somehow smaller. After 1 broken lever and 3 tries I kept pinching the tubes because I

    Add that classic look

I stripped my 1986 Miyata 710 down to the bolts and rebuilt my bike with a new powder coat, cleaned and reversed everything. I had a 4 season Continental that lost a lot of profile since it was my practice bike. To complete the look I needed brown side panels. I didn't want 23mm tires but wasn't sure if 28mm would fit. That's a great view! The tread has a decent amount of tread and the pattern looks like it would be suitable for very light gravel. They were very easy to put on and quite…

Good choice for a vintage bike

I put these tires on a 1983 Fuji. They are an excellent replacement for the original Skinwall tires. The original tires (and rims) were marked 27 x 1 1/8 but were actually 1 inch. Apparently it wasn't uncommon in that era for tires to have an actual width that was less than the nominal width. So I settled on the 1" Pasela, and that's exactly what they measure at 100psi. (Inside Rim Width 17mm, Outer Rim Width 22mm) This was my first experience with folding tires. I can see others have had…
