Works best in bike tools and maintenance

Bought a cheap Chinese copy first, then bought the right tool for the job. This USA made product does the job right. I originally paid $5 for a Chinese POS that cut my bottom bracket in half and threw it in the trash! - Do it right or do it twice. It is worth supporting American production and working with our bikes.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Worth every penny. High quality, low price.

Excellent quality tool. should last forever I think. I used it once and it fits perfectly on my square tapered sealed cartridge bottom bracket for my Diamondback Line 27.5" mountain bike. The tool doesn't go all the way in and rips off the weaker aluminum bracket interface.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not the best

Good product, excellent seller!

I recently purchased a Park Tool BBT-32 for servicing the bottom bracket on my old Trek and Framed Minnesota 2.0 hardtail and it's been great so far. At $13.49, this is a good price for a well-known brand like Park Tool. That being said, the main reason I'm writing this review is because of Trail This's 5-star customer service. The customer service rep responded quickly and politely to a delivery issue and did everything possible to resolve the issue, even though it wasn't his fault.

Glad I have the Park Tool

Received this yesterday and used it last night to replace the bottom bracket on a late 90's Stumpjumper Pro M2. Removing the old slide required a significant amount of force and leverage. I ended up putting my bike on a bike rack and tying the front wheel to the basement ceiling, like in a medieval torture position. I needed a 3 foot wrench extension to get the old block off. I used a large washer and crank bolts to hold the bushing in place while I rotated it. I could probably save a few bucks

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Expensive

Ideal for removing Shimano bottom bracket cartridges.

I am repairing 3 mountain bikes in my family. I needed this to remove the Shimano bottom bracket cartridge. It's good to use this to take it out from time to time and clean any rust or dirt in the bottom bracket. Note that some manufacturers fit a red Loctite cartridge, so sometimes you need a large wrench. Also, I used a foot pedal bolt with a washer to hold it in place so it wouldn't slip out if I had to put VERY hard pressure on it to loosen the Loctite. When reinstalling, use the blue one…

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • I vaguely remember

Best saved my bike in cycling

One of the main reasons bikes go to waste is a broken bottom bracket. My 17 year old Trek needed a new mount. I knew trying to remove it without the right tool was useless. (Rusty) Wet the thread with Kroil and waited 2 days. With this tool, the bracket came off amazingly easily. (It still took some effort but I didn't expect anything like this) Got a new mount and my old Trek is happy again. I also. GREAT TOOL. Almost everything Pak does is top notch. ** Be sure to clean the teeth of the old…

Pros
  • Doping 🔥

  • Needs a socket

If you have Octalink v1 you will need this.

If you have an Octalink v1 and plan to keep your bike for a while, you will want this tool in your collection at some point. There are other types of bottom bracket tools, but this one is easy to use. None of the tools I've found solve the simple problem of staying still when trying to apply pressure. So, following another reviewer's advice, I bought a set of Home Depot washers (1.5" diameter) and used a quick release skewer from my front tire. Once the tool is secured with a skewer, all you…
