Compact enough to take home

Compact enough to fit on a seat tube and securely fastened with a protective rubber mount so it won't snap off even with a hard hit. It would have been nice if the air port had a plug to keep mud and water out, but this can be avoided by rotating it towards the rear wheel. Maybe a little more pumping power, but it's limited by the strength of your arm, and it should be possible for most of us to gain 40 pounds, which should be enough to get you home to a floor pump (recommended buy). Presta valve not working. could be a bad block.

Purchased primarily for commuting comfort with 700 x 45 tires (80psi max). Chose this pump over the larger PMP-4.2 mini-pump for its higher maximum pressure (100psi vs. 90psi), making it more useful on other bikes with higher tire pressures. Tested and could not get the pump to stall. to the presta valve. I have an old Park PFP-3 floor pump which requires some dexterity to hook and unhook on the Presta valves but otherwise works well. I twisted and squeezed harder than I was comfortable with on
