I was skeptical about this pump claiming it could work up to 90psi but I ordered at a great price! I tested the pump on the spare tire and increased the tire pressure to 80 after 10-12 minutes of inflation. I was able to get it to 90psi but I stopped. I was convinced I could bump it up to 90p, maybe even 100p if I tried hard. At this point the pump felt warm and it took a little hand strength to keep it going. Purchased primarily for commuting comfort with 700 x 45 tires (80psi max). Chose this pump over the larger PMP-4.2 mini-pump for its higher maximum pressure (100psi vs. 90psi), making it more useful on other bikes with higher tire pressures.
