available I really wanted this to work but previous reviews were accurate, unfortunately the brake lights on them look like turn signals so they didn't really do the trick. They look good, have a strong magnet, easy to assemble but not suitable for my application.

As already mentioned, they are incorrectly connected. The yellow lights work as brake lights and the red lights as turn signals. When you turn on the headlights, the red lights come on at full brightness, making it seem like you've got your brakes on, until you slam on the brakes and the amber lights come on, confusing you all even more.

The trailer lighting that came with my trailer is defective. I replaced all the wires, bulbs and everything else and they worked for a while and then they were gone. It's easy to install (use zip ties to make sure the cables don't pull or get in the way) and because I can test it before I put it on it's easy to test. I find that the round connector is easier to use and provides a better connection than the traditional 4 pin trailer wire connections.

It seems the only way to keep the connector in our trucks' 7-pin connector is to use tape. Since we haven't had this problem with anything else we've hooked up to a truck in the last 7+ years, we're assuming it's this product. I'm still trying to locate the brake lights, when we step on the brakes the yellow gets lighter than the red. Hm. And I'm wondering where the license plate light is coming from. This is a very good product when you need to pull something. I actually added this to my bike rack as my taillights are almost completely covered when the bikes are on the rack. With this product mounted on a bike rack, I'm sure the cars behind me can easily see my headlights. Had high hopes. Got disappointed. The product looked like it had been used as a soccer ball since the box first appeared in the bag. I'm glad it was in this package otherwise the box would have crumbled and fallen apart in the Revain box. It had a plastic sheet with an air pocket.
