I really like these collars for my two dogs. They responded quickly and I very rarely have to use electric shocks. They respond to both a sound signal and vibrations. The only thing I found difficult is that you have to switch between the dogs. If you're not careful, you can easily signal the wrong collar if the wrong dog is selected. I have bought several of these collars. They work great. I never turn off the beep mode, but I like the three options they offer. It's AMAZING how long it stays charged. The range is beautiful and I live by a lake and my labs (we are 4 of us) love the water and get jibed in it all the time. They really are waterproof. So I wouldn't recommend buying them.
