Good baskets but not as strong as advertised

I gave 5 stars to the first pair I bought. Unfortunately, they only lasted about 4 years, when the prism in the eyepiece came loose and could no longer be focused. This is common with binoculars, but is usually the result of a fall or impact and is therefore not covered under warranty. I have taken good care of them, this may mean they are not as strong as the larger pairs. Apparently I liked them so much that I tried them a second time. As butterfly binoculars they are excellent. Great product! I'm officially blind due to a rare eye condition and my world ends about 3 inches from my short nose (I often wish I was Pinocchio) but I'm not and I'm always looking for something to help my vision. Zooming in is a great help, but most products on the market are over $600. I'm going to China in a few months and was talking to my travel partner about how I really wish I had something that could magnify things both up close and from afar. He suggested I use binoculars. The best nerd binoculars, butterfly binoculars and travel binoculars!
