PerfectPrime IR0280: Infrared Thermal Imager with Visible Light Camera & Wide Temperature Range Review

Read all reviews after your purchase. The price was right but the quality was terrible. Not only is it pixelated, but you can't tell what the shapes are either. I used to look at animals before and after for my therapy business and you can hardly see the outlines of the animals or certain parts. It's all one big ball.

I felt the advertised pictures and fluff were just that. Fluff it seems to have been repackaged (already sent back?) and the resolution is not at all what was advertised. Pretty much rubbish in my opinion. In addition, if the batteries are not removed every time, they will be dead after a few days of storage. There were no directions either.

I bought this and the FLIR One to compare PCB hotspot detection. About the same price, same resolution, I thought they were comparable. I prefer something that I don't have to connect to my phone to use, so I was hoping this would be a winner. I've compared each to the Adafruit USB isolator because I know the ADuM5000 and ADuM4160 chips get pretty hot. This is a handy little device. looks well made and comes in a really nice case that looks like a small guitar case. The instructions are clear and in real English. Failed to load media. The device comes with a 16GB microSD card, USB data/charge cable and manual in a molded foam carrying/storage case. I am impressed how easy it is to work with.
