it worked but with problems

Pump worked well but the sediment that gets into the oil ended up in a liter of oil. What a pain to get. Even the smallest nipple fit my 30hp Honda outboard well, but the body was too big and didn't fit the motor snugly. A lot of trouble for something so simple

Stay away! Zero stars!

40 years of experience. Also after being warned by other reviews I decided to take a look for myself. Adapter (2) and hose with pump fit together perfectly. More oil flows out of the piston rod of the pump than out of the lower block. As in other reviews. What a mess!. I think there is no quality control.

Not at all what I expected

It does not fit the 1 gallon container as advertised, at least not the Volvo Penta container. Also, none of the adapters screw into the VP DP output drive. I thought I read that this would work, no luck unfortunately so I must have skipped that part. The pump pumps gear oil well, so I give it three stars.

pumps fresh gear lube well. Actually - I have Alpha-Gen 2 Outdrive (Mercruser). Separately drain the old grease from the output gear and from the canister located on the motor (simply pull the hose from the canister to the top of the output gear - if you have a 2nd generation. 1st generation: you don't have a canister that does extra lubrication contains - if the output gear is slightly leaking - excess grease will automatically flow into the forward gear).
