I like that you can see where all of your permits are located at once. It also makes tracking permits much easier as well. For some reason, it is very hard to add notes to my permits so I have to go back in and edit them multiple times. Also, sometimes it gets stuck and won't let me save changes. I like that you can set up alerts for when your permit status changes or if there are any issues with permits in general. It's easy to use once installed but requires some training from an expert user before using effectively - no one wants their system down! Make sure they have someone who knows how this software works so troubleshooting isn't as difficult later (if anyone ever gets around to fixing problems). The ability to search for permits by county/parish or city limits. It's easy to set up searches that pull in other data sets such as building approvals (zoning), land use maps, etc. Also helpful if you have multiple offices within your organization so they can be linked together. I wish there was an easier way of creating reports with different levels of detail.
