Definitely a good buy

Very happy with this thread for the price. I was skeptical at first as all the reviews were glowing and all were posted within a short period of time but decided to give it a try as even a crappy filament has its place. I had nothing to fear! The print on the image was done on the Prusa Mini almost immediately after opening the roll, no pull tests, temperature towers or other calibrations other than the Live Z test to ensure proper initial coating. It came out a little stringy, but then again…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Older model

My wife needed a dark brown filament for the garden railroad tracks she was printing. PETG seems to be the best type of filament for outdoor use, so I did some research. It turns out that almost nobody makes dark brown PETG thread. I found this yarn from Ataraxia Art for $16.99 for a 1kg spool. At this price I was quite skeptical but on the other hand I wouldn't lose much if it dropped. Spring. I was very pleasantly surprised by this thread! The label says "no bubbles, no tangles, no clogs"…

Model is a Satsana air duct for mounting a MicroSwiss hot end) Support was from the build platform only, the model required very little cleaning as I would expect from any decent PETG after kit . I'm printing this at between 230c and 235c depending on the part and a wall speed of 30mm/s on a slightly modified Ender 3 V2 and it comes off smoothly. The
