Price: Car Electronics

These speakers are definitely worth the price, they are not high end so don't expect size. But for the money they sound great, I just put four of these in a Jeep Cherokee and I'm pretty impressed. The only downside is that the tweeters experience a slight metallic nod at higher volumes. They were installed within a month and the driver of this car is also happy with them.

Cheap speakers for those who don't care

Bought for my suburban 2012 Nissan Sentra. It doesn't have crazy stereo or anything, just needs to replace blown standard speakers. They were cheap so we decided to give it a try. They're fairly cheaply made and the cables that come with them are too thin for a 500w speaker. I ended up using mine. I had to cut some of the factory plastic bracket to fit the front doors, but it didn't make much of a difference. The back seat was perfect. The sound is ok but I wasn't looking for the best in theโ€ฆ

Good deal for my needs

I installed these speakers in the back of my 1972 Olds 442 which took a little time. My car wasn't designed for aftermarket speakers and I had to cut out a piece of the medal in the deck to make it fit better. The speakers are connected to a modern conventional stereo AM/FM radio with minimal to moderate output. At the moment I am completely satisfied with them in terms of sound quality and cost. Note that no installation instructions are included and it took some effort to figure out whichโ€ฆ

Good and cheap what a mistake

I was literally looking for the cheapest speakers of this size that money can buy. I have a first generation S-10 and the speakers were so shot that anything else would have been better. The only issue I had was having to modify the mounting plates a bit to actually fit my truck. But given the sheer amount of mounting options they have to accommodate, it's hard to convince them. Overall they won't win any awards, but they sound a lot better than the 30 year old factory exploded junk that wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Value for money. At least I knew I had good speakers and cables now so I could diagnose some floor issues coming up over the radio with an old truck I bought. But I figured them out and they sound really good. I just drop them off the deck. The addition of two kick panels and a small 10" subwoofer is powered by a separate amp in a standard cab pickup and I'm very happy with it. (By the way, if you broke an old truck with alternator, sometimes the engine ground strap on the body or frame wearsโ€ฆ

Works in my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT with factory radio.

Fits my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT, standard cab with basic factory radio. They fit on the rear side panels. You need to drill holes to install the speakers as the factory speakers just snap on, which is a great design to reduce installation time and manufacturing cost. to drill holes slightly larger than the supplied screws and use the supplied tabs (which can be a hassle, imo) to mount the speakers, or use self tapping screws which I chose to use. Sound - they are powered by an upgradedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Ok most of the time, but...

These are great speakers. I bought the 3.5" and installed it on my '98 Sebring with no problems. The tweeter protrudes 1/2" from the top of the speaker. You should know, I had a competition stereo back in my 20s I wanted quality sound, not bass. These speakers do their job well. I'll try to explain that sound... If you replace a set of worn paper cone speakers, you'll notice a big difference in sound. The high frequencies (treble) are much more prominent and brighter, and most of the mid-rangeโ€ฆ
