These speakers are definitely worth the price, they are not high end so don't expect size. But for the money they sound great, I just put four of these in a Jeep Cherokee and I'm pretty impressed. The only downside is that the tweeters experience a slight metallic nod at higher volumes. They were installed within a month and the driver of this car is also happy with them.

I installed these speakers in the back of my 1972 Olds 442 which took a little time. My car wasn't designed for aftermarket speakers and I had to cut out a piece of the medal in the deck to make it fit better. I was literally looking for the cheapest speakers of this size that money can buy. I have a first generation S-10 and the speakers were so shot that anything else would have been better. The only issue I had was having to modify the mounting plates a bit to actually fit my truck. But given the sheer amount of mounting options they have to accommodate, it's hard to convince them. Fits my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT, standard cab with basic factory radio. They fit on the rear side panels. These are great speakers. I bought the 3.5" and installed it on my '98 Sebring with no problems. The tweeter protrudes 1/2" from the top of the speaker.
