Finally - Wireless Headset for Conferencing and Hi-Fi Audio

I'm picky when it comes to headsets and headphones. I'm on conference calls most of the day. If not, I'd like to enjoy some music. Well, I like a lot of music, but it's hard to fit into the time available. I've been waiting 5 years for a great wireless headset that combines conference calling with hi-fi music and can switch between a physical phone and a PC. . I have excellent headphones (Sennheiser HD 650), but the headsets have only ever been used for conference calls. FINALLY something here…

Don't waste your money! Sketch company!

Purchased on February 27th. Tried to go back in a week thanks to the HORRIBLE quality of communication. Echoes, tons of static even 5 feet from receiver, dropped USB connection, it was just a waste of time - I got that crap with a $20 Walmart headset! I had SO high hopes. I researched for a few weeks before deciding on this option and thought I had found the perfect choice. Ha! nope So the worst thing is that when I tried to return it I found that the payment failed. Still waiting. I contacted…

A dream come true: audio and video accessories

They are very comfortable. I have a very large head and wear glasses and it has a hanging strap which makes it very comfortable in almost all situations. I didn't realize at first they were snap and fixed but once I realized they fit perfectly. The quality of the microphone is excellent. So far I've used them with Vidyo, WebEx, Skype and GlobalMeet. Either way, voices sound great through headphones and my voice sounds fantastic to others. The mute function is very well done, sitting right on…

Best bluetooth headset for home or office under $300

This is the best headset I could find for conference calling. I've tried several headsets in the past, including the Sennheiser 506045 MB Pro2 UC, which was very unreliable on OS X.1. Voyager Focus looks great, has good build quality and is very comfortable, I can use it for hours - both for communicating and listening to music. It's relatively light (although not as light as the Sennheiser MB Pro2).2. Outstanding reliability and compatibility. I use it with Skype, WebEx, GoToMeeting and Mumble

If it's too good to be true, it's probably fake

I confess I fell for it. If you look at the Plantronic website (as of August 2018) this headset is listed for $299.95. If you google them you will find that there are many shady websites listing them for less than $150 just like this list. But they are listed for $250-$300 on brick and mortar store websites that you know you can trust. I know this means they are not genuine Plantronics headphones but I bought them anyway despite many reviews of them falling apart or not working out of the box…

Best Headset Under $200 for Video Conferencing on Mac

This is the best headset under $200 for video conferencing on Mac or iPhone. I love Apple AirPods, but the battery dies quickly and I need to change my headphones. Tried the Jabra Evolve 65e, it's clumsy and the Bluetooth implementation doesn't work with Macs. This headset wins in terms of battery life - I typically spend 4 hours a day video conferencing, and the battery lasts at least two days. At first I had reservations about buying a headset that uses a proprietary key to connect to a…

  • Security

I work in IT and a good headset is almost as important as any other tool in my office. I have been using a Plantronics Savi W720 (binaural overhead) for many years. My company uses Cisco IP phones and the W720 works best with a Plantronics APC-43 Electronic Switch cable (which eliminates the need for a handset lifter). increased amount of ambient noise Given the amount of devices and systems running in close proximity, Voyager's focus seemed to match what I was looking for - a dual-ear active…

Extremely cheap plastic doesn't last long

Initially I was very happy with this purchase due to the good battery life and fairly good sound quality. After about three or four months of use, I noticed a small tear on one side of the headphone, which quickly turned into a full tear. Then about 10 months later it broke on the other side. Now I have headphones that work but look ridiculous and I have to be extremely careful with them lest I cut the exposed wires when a tear stretches them fully. The quality of the plastic used in these…
