get the job done on power tools

Ideal for cutting 4" sewer pipe in place of a toilet bowl. How else to cut the pipeline? Great product and fast shipping. Save time.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Discontinued

Not the best description

Unfortunately, I can rate it really well. I thought it would remove 4 inch diameter material. Unfortunately, 4 inches is a lead that fits in the pipe. These things are frustrating. Just be clear in the description.

Pros
  • High-quality workmanship
Cons
  • Only available in black

Good tool looks used

4 inch plug delivered and arrived on time. was used and returned. I bought this because I needed a 3 inch device so grab this one if I need it in the future. I hate buying things that look used.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Good if it's the only option you have in an ideal situation

The main problem with this product is that the cutting surfaces are not sharpened at all. Due to blunt cutting surfaces, be prepared for recoil that can fracture your wrist/arm. You also need a 3.5 inch version. This is of no use if previous installers have introduced additional smaller pipes. And remember, even though it says 4 inches, that's the diameter of the rail. It cuts 4.5 inches

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Don't remember

Great price for a great tool.

Great tool. I was at a loss as to how to fix a pipe in the ground that was barely protruding from the fitting. My plumbing store sells the same tool for $50. Same brand and stuff. A lot of money is saved here. Note that when you cut it, it always comes off just a little bit. It takes some time to get through the pipe and you have to stop and clean the blade several times. But it works great and saved my bacon. Photos before and after here.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Toilet flange repair

Did what I needed it for perfectly. I had a 4 inch toilet flange that the dummy screwed into the wrong position. They had regular bolts holding the toilet in place, not brass nuts as the holes were in the wrong place. One of the screw heads on the old flange was also rusted. This thing works well and slowly, giving you just enough bevel to get there with a hacksaw or hacksaw to cut off the rest of the flange. Socket Saver is a great name for a great product.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Sturdy Construction - Power and Hand Tools

I had to drill out some press fittings that were under the foundation and replace some pipes. Attached to a 1/2" electric drill, this thing went through a dozen 4" pipes. I've used other brands that bend teeth and cause jagged cuts with hard work. Not this one! it and never had to worry about damaging it. If you are replacing plumbing parts and don't want to replace more than necessary, buy this product. It will save you money the first time you use it.

Pros
  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • Some Minor Stuff

My plumber was very impressed - no need to make a tee

Found this product on YouTube after researching many solutions for removing cemented 4" pipe from elbows. My plumber only had an inch in a very busy subfloor. Make a cut, add a tee to move my toilet to a different location. I ordered this for $10 every other day Prime 2 for the job done today. I showed the video to my plumber and within 10 minutes the original elbow was cleared for a new 4 inch section to the other elbow. My plumber was very impressed - no tee needed, time saved, money saved…

Pros
  • Wrench
Cons
  • Wrinkled

My drains are back together and not leaking.

So I made a big mistake and put a plumbing tee on the back. Which I later found out is a big NOPE and would not pass inspection. All of my fittings were grouped very tightly. Replacing one fitting meant replacing many other adjacent fittings. It would cost me hundreds of dollars (4 inch stuff ain't cheap). Not to mention the days I worked on it. I bought the thing, cut off the offending hardware and wasted it. In the videos you are watching people are doing it and it looks very easy. And it's…
