Use to repair motor home water tanks, dirt bike fenders, gas tanks and agricultural water tanks.

I saved $80. works great

they work I had to redo the faucet on my RV's fresh water tank. cleaned polished painted with a cleaner pulled out a plastic welding machine bypassing the fitting first. then got a pole and used three quarters of one, worked great.

Works great in an emergency for small leaks!

We had a crack in the keel of our sea kayak and after doing a lot of research on how to fix it we decided to try these strips in the main plastic weld and although I was expecting that it would fail, the unexpected surprise worked like a charm. It definitely took a while to get comfortable, we didn't even need the whole package, we just used 1 1/2 and then sanded it down with a dremel. There are no leaks, we drove the boat outside for several hours!

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • There are some nuances

It turned out: Welding Equipment and Accessories

After years of towing the kayak through parking lots, I finally got a small hole in my back. The polymer welding worked and my kayak is seaworthy again. The application was a bit tricky. In the end I found the best method to be to heat shorter weld strips and apply them over the hole until the hole was completely closed. Then I heated an old wood chisel to a fairly high temperature and used it to smooth the weld and make sure there were no gaps.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad

It worked well to patch up my water tank.

This worked well to patch the water tank in my RV. Two of the weld fittings were cracked so I found the fittings from a trailer supplier and my brother made the power tools on his CNC mill. My second attempt at spin welding didn't melt the fitting as well as I would have liked (should have rotated longer) so I used these strips to make sure there were no leaks around the edge of the fitting and to seal the cracks . Areas in the uncut part of the old fittings and the corner of the tank is right…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Sad packaging
