Excellent Filament in Additive Manufacturing

Printed a few with it so far and all is great. There are no problems with sticking to the bed, the color is excellent, not a single jam. I am trying to print Cthulhuddah_with_Wings larger but it looks like it will be great. Will definitely be ordering more of this yarn in different colors.

Pros
  • Tangle Free & Moisture Free
Cons
  • Poor Instructions

You may need to run it a little hotter.

Great value for money. Polymaker makes great products. Their Polymax PLA+ is one of my favorites. This product prints well, but it takes a little love to get the temperature right. I found that I had to increase the temperature by 10 degrees to get better adhesion of the thin towers. As soon as I chose it, it delivered. Army Green is a welcome addition to my yarn collection.

Pros
  • No paper jams, excellent printability and better adhesion of layers
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Prints great with standard profiles

We tested Red, Gray and Army Green on our Raise3D and Prusa machines with standard PLA profiles and they printed beautifully. less stiff and more flexible than standard PLA, which is what we were looking for - to avoid breakage or sharp edges. The finish at 220°C was semi-gloss, bright and rich. Overall very impressed and we will continue testing to implement this in our production. Polymaker has succeeded again!

Pros
  • PLA Pro with excellent combination of impact resistance and stiffness
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
